"Live Your Passion": How Fabletics Lives up to its Mantra

We've all been there: we want to feel healthy and work out, but we just don't feel like getting out of bed. The feeling of accomplishment after the fact is indescribable, but the amount of willpower it takes to get a foot out the door is innumerable.

How do you find that motivation to get moving?

While this answer is different for everyone, I find that wearing active wear I find stylish and feel confident in goes a long way. Finding pieces that fulfill these wants alone is hard enough, but finding them at an affordable price is next to impossible.

However, after much searching, I have found a company that fulfills this criteria.

Along with her co-owners, American actress Kate Hudson saw the need for both affordability and style in the active wear market, and formed a company globally known by the name Fabletics.

As stated on their website, Fabletics’ mission is to create clothing that inspires women to get active in whatever way they desire, dressed in active wear they feel good about wearing. This mission is summed up in their mission statement: “Live Your Passion”.

This seems like an incredible company with a mission that really appeals to the desires of each individual customer they serve. But does Fabletics live up to its mantra, or are they missing the mark? A brief evaluation of their company website and advertisements should give us the answer.

Fabletics creates a very personal experience on their website. First-time customers answer six personal questions regarding sizing and taste preferences: how they like to get fit, where they like to go to exercise, what colors they like to wear, what their body type is, and the sizes they like to wear.

Once customers complete this survey, they are shown apparel that is ‘handpicked’ for them based on their responses to the questions. They do not have a particular style or ‘look’, but rather offer a variety of styles. This further promotes the mantra and encourages individuality.

Furthermore, upon customers’ first-time arrival, Fabletics make things even more personal by asking for a birthdate. This way, they will email you a ‘birthday present’: percentage off coupons.

Additionally, if customers buy from Fabletics on a regular basis, they receive rewards points. Two points are rewarded for every dollar spent. Once enough points are cumulated, they can be redeemed in their ‘Points Shop’. Here, customers can trade their points for merchandise. This program builds a relationship with customers and makes them feel that Fabletics cares they are loyal consumers.

All in all, Fabletics seems to live up to their mantra by creating a very personalized experience for their customers. The company really makes it about living YOUR passion, and that is displayed perfectly through the statement “Live Your Passion”.
